"The Annunciation"

圣母身穿白衣,外披蓝袍,(代表她的纯洁与人性),头略微向下,显出了她的同意与谦逊.旁边的嘉俾额爾天使,用美丽的金色与蓝绿描绘,主要是强调他的天性与职责.他左手持着百合花,象征圣母的童贞;抬起右手,表示讲话的手势.


Description: The angel of the Lord: [The Holy Spirit will come upon you, and the power of the Most High will overshadow you] (Lk 1:35), [Behold, I am the handmaid of the Lord. May it be done to me according to your word.] (Lk 1:38), the response of Mary, so, [The Word became flesh and made his dwelling among us] ( Jn 1:14), made his dwelling: literally, “ pitched his tent/ tabernacle.” So drapery in this picture.
White and mantles of blue is worn by the Virgin Mary, as a symbol of purity and representative of earth and humankind respectly. And her head is bowed as in agreement and humility.Beside the angel Gabriel, depicted the cloth in beautiful gold and blue-green, emphasizes its heavenly nature and function. His left hand holds a lily, a symbol of Mary’s virginity, and right hand lift up, symbol the figure of speaking.
